Mrs. Park wins Duval County Teacher of the Year!

Two weeks ago, we went to the EDDY awards to support our Top 5 Finalist, Mrs. Kay Park (who also happens to have been my first grade teacher!). We all had a feeling that she might win because she is AMAZING! Well she WON! We are all so excited for this fabulous teacher and will be cheering her on as she goes on to compete for Florida Teacher of the Year in July! Yay Mrs. Park!

Lady Gamecocks visit

The University of South Carolina Lady Gamecocks came to visit us a few weeks ago. The kids did a "clap out" as they walked by. They also brought us a lot of books for our library. These amazing ladies went on to win the SEC championship in Jacksonville! Go Gamecocks!

Pancake breakfast!

Pancake breakfast! We celebrated "If you give a Pig a Pancake" by Laura Numeroff by having a yummy pancake breakfast.
