Science Experiment!

Yesterday, the kids placed a lima bean seed into a baggie with a wet paper towel. They made predictions about what the seed would look like with water and sunlight in 5 days. They are going to record what the seed looks like everyday in class. We also made predictions about what will happen to a seed with sunlight, but no water and a seed with water, but no sunlight.

Baby Shower

Thank you to everyone that helped put together a class baby shower for me! The kids had a lot of fun and I felt the love! It was so thoughtful and sweet of you all to do that. Thank you so much for the cute outfits, activity gym, and changing pad.

Flag Raising Performance

Thank you to everyone who came out for our Flag Raising performance! The kids had so much fun singing about filling buckets with kindness.

February Star Students

Kaiden and Alex were our February Star Students. Great job boys!

Skyping with Mr. Marc from Adventure to Fitness!

Today, the First Grade classes were able to skype with the one and only Mr. Marc from Adventure to Fitness! The kids got a chance to ask him questions and answer some of his questions. It was so neat! He encouraged the kids to eat their fruits and vegetables, exercise everyday and keep going on interactive adventures with him. Adventure to Fitness is an educational physical activity for the kids to do on rainy days that we aren't able to go outside. Since our class has done so many adventures, we got the chance to skype him! It was truly a memorable experience! Check out the website below to learn more about Adventure to Fitness.
